Cure for Work Boredom...

I'm curious to find out what you do at work when you are bored?

Do you:

• Own up and ask for more work to do
• Sit there and doss about on the internet
• Pretend to work
• Look for a new job because you just can't handle this boredom.

Artist makes amazing figures using only empty drinks cans!

I saw this online this morning when I was on The Sun website having a quick look at the latest gossip and I HAD to create a blog about it straight away.

All of the above were made out of recycled drinks cans by a Japanese artist Macaon Painstakingly.

 I especially love how he has re-created four of my favourite characters, Buzz, Woody, Pikachu and Mario.

Anyone know what this little icon is called " ~ "?

Well I didn't until literally a few minutes ago. It's called a "tilde".

I don't know how this is pronounced, is it said like chilled but replace the "ch" with a "t" so it is said out aloud as "tilled"?

Or...

"Til-dee" so "till" then "dee"?

Then again it could even be like...

"Til-deh" so it would  be said as "till" "there" but replacing "th" in the word there with a "d" tilldere?

Or even...

"til-day" so "till" then "day"?

Haha all the different possibilities I have just come up with.

If anyone knows the correct way of pronouncing it, please let me know?

Shitty Cold Weather

What's with this shitty cold weather?

Tomorrow is March and it's still really cold, I know here in England we don't really get much of a Summer but it's always nice to have a little bit of sun out in the sky!

Junk E-Mails

I was going to do this post yesterday after I cleared out all my junk e-mails but I thought the only reason I had so many was because I haven't cleared it in ages...I thought wrong.

I log into my hotmail account this morning and find 31 junk e-mails. I know this is a problem for everyone but I don't get how I can get so many as I block all the email accounts that come into my junk e-mail box.

Surely there has got to be a way for this to eventually stop with all these improvements within technology.

Full of Wonder...

This blog is going to start off a bit mixed up but there is reasoning to this...

Someone I know of has been in hospital for quite a while and the hospital he was in couldn't find out what was wrong with him. He got moved to another hospital where he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Where it has been left so long he is now been refused operations and medical treatment as it is too late to cure.

Last night before I got in the shower I was watching the Pride of Britain Awards, there were alot of inspiring stories being told that emotionally hit me and was also a story about someone with cancer.

I do alot of thinking when I am in the shower and last night I was listening to a particular song; Emeli Sande - Wonder.
 
So all three of these mixed together made me think...I wonder how many people are actually out there living with cancer and not knowing it? Just because the hospital/ doctors have said that there is nothing wrong with them (or something along them lines). It's not fair on the people like the guy I talked about to be told that there is nothing that the hospital can do because it is too late. The hospitals should be able to detect something so serious like cancer straight away!!!
